The Connect brochure is produced every 3 weeks and is a business critical publication. Costcutter were looking to maximise efficiency and reduce the manual time involved to create each edition. Secondly, with trading condition becoming more challenging, Costcutter wanted to create additional time for last minute changes to deals on content to make sure they were giving their customers the best deal available.
Switching to artwork automation enabled Costcutter to create bespoke templates that supported supplier adverts, product promotions and product detail in a fraction of the time without compromising quality. Working with the team at Costcutter we developed a data format that was easy to export and the speed of the page build was all the encouragement anyone needed to see the process to completion.
